Ted Berry has had a life-long career in education and feels fortunate that he chose such an exciting and challenging and rewarding direction.

After graduating from Otago University with a Masters degree with Honours in English and French,Ted spent a year in the full-time secondary course at Auckland Teachers' College and graduated with distinction.

Over the course of his career, Ted has worked in varying educational fields. He was Head of the Languages Department at Southland Girls High School, a Guidance Teacher specialising in Transition Education, The Director of Community Education at Northcote College where he grew the programme in the final year to over 9,000 enrolments! Ted was also the Deputy Principal at Kristin, and finally Head of the Middle School at Kristin where he introduced the International Baccalaureat Middle Years Programme, a first for a New Zealand School.
