The Board of Appointment
We can advise the Board on best practice for the final interviewing stage and making the appointment. Typically we would look to present a short list of the 3 or 4 strongest candidates who have all met the selection criteria.
The Board would have a full information pack on each candidate including application form, interview notes and test results, manifesto and other written evidence, a CV and other candidate information, recent photograph, details of references, information on current salary package and copies of appropriate documentation including degree certificates, proof of identity, etc.
If required we can advise on exactly how an offer should be structured and made. We can manage the offer process and work with the Board to ensure the new principal gets off to the best possible start. We can help with the induction process and the best approach for monitoring how things progress over the first few weeks and months.
The Shortlisted Candidates
As well as providing feedback to the other candidates who were submitted on our short list, we would typically look to work with them to help them develop their careers in the future. In this way we are constantly looking to improve the quality of candidates in our Talent Pool and hence improve the strength of future shortlists.
